The Coma: Recut
A korean 2d style game, were we play as Yougho, a student from the Sehwa Institute, one day, while some of the students gather around an ambulance, we spot a rare pendant, it didn't seem like much, until...
The Coma is a pretty interesting universe, with a story that is really intriguing and mysterious, even though the game might not seem that good at the beginning, its the story that makes you want to keep playing, the thrill of what is going to happen next.
Speaking about gameplay, it is pretty basic, 2d left-right game, the game seems to focus a bit more in the story-telling part, the map isn't confusing, but its big enough to get you busy going around and doing the quest and tasks the game gives you. The mechanics are nothing too insane, just the basics, as said before, the game seems to focus more on the story, rather than difficulty or standing out in gameplay.
The game graphics are mostly comic style, which actually seem pretty good, and I would say that its one of the things that stands out as original/interesting, and the art style its just really good, it feels different from most games, giving out a nice vibe of terror and tension.
Overall, this game have some flaws that we may see as we play through, mostly due to it being the first game of The Coma, the second doesn't really show anymore flaws compared to the first game.
